Accessibility statement for Aberdeen Inn

We want everyone who visits the Aberdeen Inn website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. While we strive for ADA compatibility in our website, due to the historical nature of the neighborhood and home, and local protective regulations, we are exempt from ADA requirements for lodging and recommend different accommodations for any visitor that is unable to use stairs.

What are we doing?

We want the Aberdeen Inn website to a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level A as the target for the Aberdeen Inn website.

How are we doing?

We’ve worked hard on the Aberdeen Inn website and believe we’ve achieved our goal of Level A accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.
